You know when you watch a scary movie and your whole body tenses up without even thinking about it? That's how I feel all the time now and I can't relax it for more than a minute. Deep breathing seems to help but as soon as I continue on with my day, I'm in constant `fight or flight' mode. Makes it hard to sleep. Maybe I'll do my yoga video today....
I'm sorry your thyroid is giving you such grief again!
ReplyDeleteI get periods of what I call "adrenaline surges". I used to think it was anxiety but I'm not anxious. My heart races, I feel shaky and I feel nervous although I am not nervous about anything in particular. I hate the feeling so I can't imagine dealing with this at such an intense level as you have.
